Details: Broad Haven has all the facilities you will need for your holiday – a lovely local pub serving traditional ales and pub food, a beach shop (wetsuit, surfboard, windsurf and sea-kayak hire and sales), fish & chip shop, local general store (selling everything you can imagine!) and a fabulous restaurant called Nautilus.

There are coastal walks and spectacular views plus many other attractions within easy reach by foot, car and boat.

Broad Haven is a wonderful coastal village with a long stretch of golden sandy beach, gently shelving into the sea and with a wealth of rock-pools around the edges.

The apartment is located on the upper floor of the building (just one flight of stairs but there is no lift – not suitable for wheelchairs).

Broad Haven and around

There is something for everyone in Broad Haven and the surrounding Pembrokeshire countryside – beaches, paddling, boating, surfing, walking, fishing, golf, rock-pooling, windsurfing, water ski-ing, jet ski-ing and much much more.

There are many beautiful beaches in the local area including the golden sands and rockpools of Broad Haven itself (just a 500m walk from the apartment), Newgale (for serious surfers), Little Haven and Dale .

There are wonderful towns and villages to explore such as the pretty harbour village of Solva and St. David’s with its historic cathedral.

For nature lovers there are miles of unspoiled coastline and The National Coastal Path, home to a host of wildlife including the famous Puffins which feature in many local addresses (including Puffin House!).

For families there is Oakwood Theme Park (ideal for thrills and spills) and Folly Farm where you can meet a wonderful array of animals and many more attractions….

For shopping there is the local town of Haverfordwest, approximately 10 miles inland.

To sum up Broad Haven is the ideal holiday location whatever your desires and great for everyone, both young and old.

Directions
From the M4 junction 49 take the A48/A40 to Haverfordwest. Follow the signs for Broad Haven (B4341) from Haverfordwest and after approx. 6 miles you will enter the village of Broad Haven. Turn left off the main road into Puffin Way and Puffin House will be found half-way along on the left-hand side (pale blue apartment building).
