Offering a wide selection of hot and cold drinks, together with tempting menus, Fairyhill Bar & Brasserie creates an easy atmosphere all day long that suits almost every occasion from a quick drink or bite to eat to that important business meeting or special romantic dinner.

Following on from the original Fairyhill on Gower, (named as one of the top places to eat in the UK by Hardens Restaurant Guide and one of the AA Top Hotels) the ethos behind the Bar & Brasserie is the same, to use local ingredients to create mouth-watering dishes, complimented by good wines and local beers.

Fairyhill Bar & Brasserie at Machynys boasts stunning views of the Loughor estuary and the Gower Peninsular. In its first year Fairyhill has been awarded a rosette from the AA, a major achievement and Llanelli's only restaurant award in recent times!

Wine
Fairyhill Wines is the mail order arm of Fairyhill's sister company C.P.A's Wine. C.P.A.'s was founded in 1991 as a retail and wholesale business based in Mumbles; the shop was just around the corner from Paul and Andrew's wine bar - P.A's.

Whilst the shop is no longer, regular wine tastings are held at the hotel throughout the year. A retail list is also available and wines can either be delivered in the Swansea area or collected from the hotel. There is a minimum purchase of twelve bottles.

If you are coming to stay at the hotel, dining in the restaurant or simply visiting the area and would like to purchase wines please give us as much notice as possible as many of the wines are stored in our warehouse.

The Grounds
Within the twenty-four acres of parkland that surrounds Fairyhill hotel and restaurant there is much to see and do, or nothing at all to do: you decide.

A luxury break is not complete without a game of croquet on the lawn, in the spirit of gentle competition perhaps? Or maybe a stroll along the country paths that meander through flowering gardens and mature woodland to an expansive lake and a bubbling trout stream? For if you go down to the woods today, you're sure of a big surprise - the feathered residents will have the welcoming committee organised...

Though there is much to be said for inactivity, too; life rarely feels finer than when relaxing and taking in the view from the terrace, across the gardens to the trees beyond, drink in hand as the sun goes down. Less is more sometimes.

Location
Leave the M4 at junction 47 and off the roundabout take the A483 dual carriageway signposted to Swansea. At the next roundabout turn right onto the A484 signed to Llanelli, Gower and Gowerton. From there follow the signs to Gower and Gowerton.

At Gowerton take the B4295 North Gower coastal road, through Penclawdd, Crofty and Llanrhidian, for approximately 10 miles. After Oldwalls and the Greyhound Inn continue for a mile or so before turning left to Fairyhill Hotel.
