Details: The Accommodation
I have four holiday apartments at Freshwater Bay Holiday Village. They are all near to a huge beautiful sandy beach.

Upstairs the apartments have 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds, and either a fully tiled shower room or a bath with shower over.

Downstairs the apartments are open plan with a living, dining and kitchen area. The kitchens include an electric cooker with oven, a fridge and microwave. The lounge/dining areas include a TV with Sky freesat and a DVD player, comfy seats and a dining table and chairs.

Each apartment has a dedicated car parking space. There is also a bus service - the Coastal Cruiser.

Please note that this is a dog free site. Regrettably no pets are allowed in the accommodation or on the site.

A travel cot and high chair are available if required.

The Longhouse is a restaurant/bar at the front of the site which is open throughout the main holiday season and often open in the low season. The holiday village is a friendly place.

The Area
Freshwater Bay Holiday Village lies in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park in South West Wales. It is adjacent to a huge beautiful sandy beach and the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path from which you can enjoy fantastic coastal scenery. Freshwater East beach slopes gently making it ideal for swimming and other water activities.

Nearby there are plenty of other beaches such as Barafundle (named as one of the top 12 beaches in the world), Manorbier, Broadhaven South and Freshwater West. Each have their own character. There are many other places to visit in the vicinity such as Pembroke Castle, Bosherston Lily Ponds, St Govans Chapel, Caldey Island, Stack Rocks, Folly Farm Adventure Park, Ritec Valley Quad Bikes Activity Centre, Oakwood Theme Park, Heatherton Activity Park, Manor House Wildlife and Leisure Park and the historic towns of Tenby and Pembroke.

Freshwater Bay Holiday Village is well located between Tenby (8 miles) and Pembroke (4 miles) to access the many attractions of South Pembrokeshire and the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.

There is a bus service - the 387 Coastal Cruiser- which visits popular coastal locations in the vicinity.

TYF Adventure run outdoor activities from the site such as sea kayaking, rock climbing and coasteering.

Although the area is popular with walkers, surfers, climbers and kayakers it is also a wonderful place in which to relax and unwind and enjoy the sea air, the stunning natural beauty and the mild climate of the area.

Pembrokeshire Wales Coastal Holidays offers a relatively inexpensive way to sample the wonderful delights of this area.

Below are directions for the last 30 miles of your journey (if you are coming from the east). If you require directions to Carmarthen or any other details please contact me by phone or email. If you are arriving by train the nearest station is in Lamphey which is approximately 2 miles away. Please contact me if you would like to be collected from the station.

Directions
From Carmarthen take the A40 westbound towards Pembroke Dock.
At the roundabout at the end of this dual carriageway (approx 8 miles) turn left onto the A477 towards Pembroke Dock .
At the next roundabout (approx 12 miles) go straight over on the A477.
At the next roundabout (approx 5 miles) go straight over on the A477 .
At the next roundabout (approx 1 mile) go straight over on the A477 but very soon afterwards you will get to the village of Milton where you need to turn left onto a minor road (by the farm shop) towards Lamphey.
Follow this minor road until you reach a T-junction (approx 1.5miles) where you neet to turn right.
Follow this road to the village of Lamphey (approx 1.5 miles). At the T-junction turn left.
Go past the church on your left, over the railway bridge and then take the right turn on the bend and then immediately left on the B4584 to Freshwater East (if you go past a petrol filling station and Spar shop you have missed the turning).
Follow this minor road to Freshwater East (approx 1.5 miles).
In Freshwater East just past a bus shelter on your right, turn right down Trewent Hill.
At the bottom of the hill the road goes over a small bridge on a bend. The next entrance on your right leads into Freshwater Bay Holiday Village (also known as Trewent Park).
Go past the coloured houses at the front of the site. My apartments are Nos. 20, 21,40 and 41 which are white apartments on your left.
