Details: About GlanGwendraeth Farm and the surrounding area
Only 12 minutes from the towns of Carmarthen and Llanelli following the A.484 and situated on the edge of Kidwelly village (one of the oldest boroughs in Wales), GlanGwendraeth Farm has pleasant Castle and Country views and offers quick, easy access to many of the local attractions including Cefn Sidan, a blue-flag award beach with eight miles of sands. Pembrey's 520 acre Country Park complete with Toboggan ride, adventure playground, 130 metre artificial Ski-slope (the longest in Wales), riding centre and miniature railway. Kidwelly's impressive well preserved medieval Norman Castle dating back to 1106, and now officially the second most popular visitor attraction in Wales. Pembrey Motor Racing circuit. The Industrial Museum representing Kidwelly's Tinplate Works dating back to 1737, plus coal mining and brick manufacturing in the area. The Ashburnham Championship links Golf Course plus the new Machynys Peninsula 7,100 yard links-style golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus which regularly hosts the Ladies European Championship.

For those who enjoy outdoor activities, GlanGwendraeth Farm is also an ideal base for walking, cycling or birdwatching along the 22 kilometres Millenium Coastal Path.

The intriguing Aberglasny with its Elizabethan and Jacobean garden structures plus the National Botanic Garden of Wales are only 25 minutes away, and from this convenient central location you can reach out east to the Gower peninsular or west to the Pembrokeshire Coast, Oakwood Theme Park, Tenby, and the Dylan Thomas Boathouse in Laugharne, all in approximately 40 minutes.

Five minutes on foot will take you into Kidwelly village where you will find a good selection of Pubs and Restaurants for your meals plus Indian and Chinese take-aways and the local Chip-shop. (Local map provided in each room)

All rooms are Shower En-suite with Colour Television and Courtesy Tray.

Double rooms are all fitted with King-size beds.

A Luxury Static Caravan is now available in nice Private setting. Sleeps 3 in great comfort. One Double Bedroom with Shower ensuite plus one Single Bedroom with separate bathroom. Fully fitted kitchen with Fridge, Freezer, Microwave plus Gas Hob/Oven.

2008 Weekly Rates as follows:-
£350 from 1st April to 30th September.
£250 from 1st October to 31st March.

Midweek or Weekend 3 day breaks :-
£200 from 1st April to 30th September.
£150 from 1st October to 31st March.
Electricity and Gas included in the prices.
No hidden extras.
Static is completely Non-Smoking.
