Welcome! Point Farm, Dale, is on the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path and offers superb panoramic views. It is approximately 12 miles from Haverfordwest. It is NOT a working farm, but it is a beautifully restored 18th Century Farmhouse. 4 Star B&B accommodation as well as a self catering cottage.

Details: 4 Star Bed and Breakfast
The main house was built in 1720. Point Farm has not been a working farm for the last 30 or so years. Over the last eight years the house has been beautifully restored, whilst retaining the original charm and features. It is our family home and we strive to keep it well decorated, very clean and comfortably furnished.
The B&B is entirely non-smoking.
Accommodation
All located on the first floor, the accommodation comprises of:

1 double room with a king sized bed and garden views
1 family room with a double and a single bed with sea views
1 single room with a 4 foot wide bed and garden views

Bathrooms
All rooms have wash basins with mains water supply. There is a bathroom on the first floor, with a shower attachment over a bath, and a shower room on the ground floor. Both have W.C.’s.

Bedroom Facilities
All rooms have tea and coffee facilities, radio alarm clocks, TV’s, toiletries, hairdryers and dressing gowns.

Laundry
We have facilities for drying wet clothes and boots and guests are welcome to use the garden tap and clothesline for their wetsuits.

Bicycle & Water-Sports Equipment
It is possible to store bikes and water-sports equipment by arrangement. The Yacht Club has space for parking dinghies and small boats. This can be arranged in advance through Dale Yacht Club - telephone 01646 636 625. Visitor moorings for yachts can also be arranged.

Communication
There is a phone located in the front entrance hall for emergencies only. Mobile phone reception is good, particularly Orange and Vodaphone networks.

Breakfast
This is served at 8.30am in the dining room, but can be provided earlier if required. The breakfast menu includes a buffet with a selection of cereals, fruit, yoghurt, juice, toast and preserves. In addition we offer a cooked breakfast, with a wide choice.

Packed Lunch
Packed lunches are available on request at a cost of £5 per person. This includes a sandwich with a choice of fillings, fruit, a packet of crisps, a Meusli bar and a carton of fruit juice. Please order this the night before.

Garden
Guests are welcome to sit in the back garden where garden furniture is provided.

Conservatory
There is a comfortably furnished conservatory opening off the dining room for guests to use

Children
We are happy to accommodate children, although we only take young babies and toddlers lf the other rooms are not occupied and if other guests raise no objections.

Pets
We are sorry we are unable to accommodate pets in the Bed and Breakfast, except guide dogs.

Access
Guest have keys to their room and front door and are welcome to come and go at any time during their stay.

Arrival & Departure
The rooms are normally available from 4.00pm - it is possible to arrange to leave luggage earlier, but we cannot guarantee that the rooms will be ready before this time. Rooms should be vacated by 10.00am.

Transport & Luggage Transfer
We can arrange pick-ups and drop-offs for walkers and we will collect or drop-off guests who are traveling by train or coach. Within a 10 mile radius the cost is £10 per destination. Further distances are charged accordingly. We also provide a luggage transfer service to other Bed and Breakfast's within the area.

Self Catering Cottage - sleeps up to 5

This charming detached stone cottage is a beautifully converted barn, covered in climbing roses. Separate to the main house, it shares the graveled courtyard with ample parking space. As the original conversion was made some 25 years ago it is not suitable for people with restricted mobility. Point Farm Cottage is entirely non-smoking.

Accommodation
The accommodation is on two floors.

Entrance
This is up a steep step into the kitchen, through a stable door. The 3 rooms on the ground floor are all on different levels.

Kitchen
The kitchen is very well equipped, with a gas cooker, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher (from 2007) and all essential cooking utensils.

Dining Room
Up a step from the kitchen, the dining table seats 5.

Sitting Room
Up a step from the dining room. There is a television DVD/VHS player/recorder with Digital TV, a radio/CD player, a selection of books, DVD's and games, and a coal-effect gas cast iron stove.

Stairs
The staircase to the first floor, located in the kitchen, is very steep with open steps.

Bathroom
Off the first floor corridor, the bathroom has a bath, over-bath electric shower, a shaver point and electric heater.

Bedrooms
The main bedroom is at the end of the corridor and has a double bed. There is also a radio-alarm clock, a convection electric heater and hairdryer. There is an external door and staircase leading from the bedroom to the courtyard below.

Next to the bathroom, the smaller of the bedrooms has two single beds, with an oil-filled radiator and radio-alarm clock.

There is also a sofa bed in the sitting room which means the cottage can sleep up to 5.

Heating and Electricity
The cottage is heated with night-storage heaters with additional heaters in the bedrooms and sitting room. There is a water tank, heated by an immersion heater. Rental is inclusive of electricity.

Bed Linen & Towels
We provide non-feather pillows and duvets with poly-cotton covers, sheets and pillow slips, always washed in non-biological powder. Bath and hand towels can be provided on request. There is an additional charge of £2.50 per person for laundering. Beach towels are not provided.

Laundry
There is a washing machine, tumble dryer and iron in the cottage. There is also a washing line in the cottage garden.

Dogs
We welcome dogs, but no larger than a Labrador. We sometimes accept two dogs if they are small. We ask that the dogs are not left unattended in the cottage for long periods and that they are not allowed to go upstairs or to wander the grounds. There is a paddock close to the cottage where dogs can be exercised off the lead.
