Details: Llandeilo is a lovely little town situated in the Tywi Valley close to the Black Mountains, with Dinefwr Castle Dinefwr Castle less than a mile away and Carreg Cennen Castle just 4 miles away. The town itself is charming with pretty painted houses, boutiques, cafés and a delicatessen. There are plenty of options for lunch or supper, including a Mexican restaurant. Llandeilo has become the rural retreat for upmarket Cardiff and Swansea residents and as such has a chic boutique hotel, The Cawdor Arms on the main street, Rhosmaen Street. The hotel has an excellent restaurant too! The Angel, also on Rhosmaen street has a more reasonably price menu.
